Lisa Markwick

Lisa is an experienced leadership psychologist, coach and mentor to senior executives, with a penchant for organisations and people exploring their place in this bigger system. Until early 2020, as Executive Director of a New Zealand national charity, she led the organisation towards a fresh vision, at a time when major transition was invited.

Lisa loves to get her feet dirty for a meaningful cause –  roles where she can really get to know people and organisations at depth and help to make the differences worth making.  She can speak the language of diverse sectors and she offers this broad experience in the form of deeply curious inquiry and guidance that opens up new thinking and seeing, new angles and new possibilities.

She was an inaugural director of various leadership programmes at the New Zealand Leadership Institute. She is the Director of Mindful Adventures Ltd. She is a mindfulness practitioner and teacher, an alumni of the deep learning retreat based 2 year Master Class of ALIA (Authentic Leadership in Action), an endurance athlete, a lover of play, and is always up for the impossible challenge.
