Towards maturing personal leadership Monday October 16th 2017 2-5pm, Blackburne House, Hope Street, LIVERPOOL, L8 7PE

An Amara Collaboration / Third Act Workshop offering a unique opportunity to experience how passionate and pragmatic leadership, healthy relationships, and a mature personal awareness invite us to engage with more mature ways of being.

The vision for Liverpool City Region is a place where people, businesses and the environment flourish and grow. Blackburne House, located in the heart of the city of Liverpool, based on Hope Street, is renowned for its leadership in women’s education and pioneering work in social entrepreneurship.

This workshop brings together Heidi Gutekunst from Finland and Ed Kelly from Ireland as the founders of Amara and The Third Act in an inspiring introduction to two creative and complementary approaches to the perspectives and processes of maturing aware leadership.

In the light of your responsibilities and the expectations on you:

  • Do you feel that the uncertainties and complexities of the future require you to be bolder to navigate and resolve the challenges towards something better?
  • Do you aspire to be a person who leads with humanity and fully by bringing your ‘whole self’ to your ‘work in the world’ within your organisation or community?

The workshop will explore these questions. Heidi and Ed bring ideas on how individuals, leaders, and organisations find the wisdom and courage to navigate and negotiate the increasingly complex challenges ahead if we are to achieve our visions. It is the recurring themes of collaboration, social justice, and ‘wholeness’, which are at the very heart of ‘aware’ courageous leadership.

It will provide an introduction to both The Third Act and Amara Collaboration, with stories on how their respective approaches have supported individual journeys to maturing personal leadership at all stages of life and career.

If this resonates with you – wherever you are in your life – come and explore and have quality conversations with like-minded people.
